A flexible polymeric magnetic ribbon is made from elastic material with magnetic properties (magnetic rubber) of dark brown color. It is supplied in rolls long of 30,5 mm, thickness of 1.5 mm, width of 12,7 and 25,4 mm.
2 types of ribbon are produced: A and B.
A ribbon has a glue layer which retains it on any surfaces including uneven (special type of ribbon with the made foam layer).
For the use of ribbon the special glue layer of ribbon is foreseen in unfavorable weather terms (so-called frost-hardy ribbon).
Magnetic properties of ribbon don't decrease at fluctuations of temperature from -30 to +80 degrees With For a certificate - 1 pog.sm ribbons in width of 25,4 mm are kept by an element weighing 90 grammes.
The magnetic ribbon from magnetic rubber is simple in use:
- easy to cut by scissors
- for fastening by a magnetic ribbon, for example type B, the presence of metallic surface is not obligatory: return magnetic part is created by means of the ribbon of type A.
